And he charged me less then what was on the meter because he thought I deserved a break.

I missed my Santa barbara Airbus connection at the Marmonte Hotel.  I couldn't afford to miss my flight because of an important business meeting.  I called and within 10 minutes he picked me up and we were on our way to LAX.  I got there with plenty of time to spare.
